Registration for the 2021 Washington Leadership Training Institute is Open!

Join us in-person this fall for our 2021 Washington Leadership Training Institute (WLTI), scheduled for Sept. 18-22. This conference is for all SkillsUSA students and advisors who want to grow in the Essential Elements of professionalism, communication and leadership and passionately advocate for career and technical education (CTE). The conference will be held at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center hotel, located at 5000 Seminary Rd, Alexandria, VA 22311. WLTI registration opened on Aug. 2, and both conference and hotel reservations must be made no later than Aug. 27 at 8 p.m. (ET). To register, go here. 1-Day Ticket for NLSC

SkillsUSA is offering an opportunity for the general public to experience its National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) with a 1-day NLSC Pass for just $35. The pass is for Thursday, June 4, 2026 and grants access to key NLSC events at the Georgia World Congress Center from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

SkillsUSA Names Florida Carpentry Champion to 2026 WorldSkills USA Team

SkillsUSA has selected Tristan Coates, of Jacksonville, Florida, as the official U.S. competitor for Carpentry at the 2026 WorldSkills Competition. This prestigious international skills competition, often referred to as the “Olympics of skilled trades,” will be held Sept. 22 -27, 2026, in Shanghai, China.
