Every third Thursday of each month, 11th-grade cosmetology students in Newark, Del., travel to Nemours Alfred I. du Pont Hospital for Children in Wilmington. They provide salon services to patients and their families. Gaining job experience as they provide quality services, these SkillsUSA members from Paul M. Hodgson Vocational Technical High School are helping patients briefly escape from the stress and challenges of serious illness.
