SkillsUSA offers a wide range of training opportunities to our professional members — the dedicated teachers and SkillsUSA advisors who make all the difference for students. These professional development offerings can help you meet licensing and certification requirements, provide classroom-ready tools, and share proven strategies for career and leadership development. Our current offerings for the 2026–27 school year are listed below, and be sure to check out the NLSC microsite for details on workshops and seminars offered during the National Leadership & Skills Conference each June.

We offer a variety of virtual professional development sessions designed to help you succeed as a SkillsUSA advisor. Training topics include the SkillsUSA Framework, Program of Work, Chapter Excellence Program, and more. Each session is facilitated by experienced SkillsUSA Professional Development Facilitators who bring real-world expertise from implementing SkillsUSA programming at the local level.
In addition to this core SkillsUSA programming, the SkillsUSA Pathful team will be hosting two sessions per month to support advisors implementing the platform into their classrooms and chapters. These will take place every first and third Wednesday of the month and are listed in the schedule, as well.
Advisor Town Halls provide chapter advisors with a consistent monthly connection to the SkillsUSA national office and the information they need for the month ahead. Each session brings together timely updates, practical resources, professional development and live Q&A to help advisors strengthen their chapters and better serve their students.
Advisor Town Halls will occur monthly from October to May, on the first Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. ET. Registration information is linked in the PD schedule.
SkillsUSA Technical Sessions feature virtual skill-building workshops led by experts from across a variety of fields. Each session provides practical takeaways you can bring directly into the classroom, along with a Professional Development certificate.
