Catawba Valley Community College students decided to embrace the diversity in their community by hosting a “Celebration of Nations.” The SkillsUSA members in Hickory, N.C., involved local vendors to promote their businesses, ideals and goals during the event. The celebration showcased cultural diversity, strength and equality by hosting traditional dances, entertainment and food for the public.
