No roping or clowning in this rodeo
Assembling bikes for a safety rodeo.
Students at Wilkes Community College (WCC) in Wilkesboro, N.C., participated in a bicycle safety rodeo honoring Seth Teague, a local child who died in a bike accident.
The event included a children’s safety course on bicycle riding, lessons on the importance of wearing a helmet, maintenance inspections and repairs, and a raffle for 14 bikes. Several hundred bicycle helmets were also given away. WCC helped assemble the bikes that were raffled.
