SkillsUSA has been named a national partner in Business Roundtable’s Skilled Trades for America Initiative, joining Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Goodwill Industries International in a coordinated push to strengthen the nation’s skilled trades workforce. SkillsUSA’s role centers on National Signing Day — the celebration recognizing students who sign letters of intent to enter the trades alongside their families and future employers. Under the partnership, Business Roundtable member companies will be invited to host signing events in their own communities, extending a tradition that drew 5,700 student signers on May 6, 2026.
