SkillsUSA Students Elected as Leaders of National Organization

SkillsUSA students have been elected as national officers to serve nearly 400,000 members for the 2023-24 school year. The 10 high school and college/postsecondary students will serve as advocates for SkillsUSA and career and technical education (CTE) and will lead two national conferences, facilitate sessions for students and instructors and advocate on behalf of SkillsUSA to elected officials and representatives of business and industry as they represent the national organization at various events. Registration for WLTI Opens on Aug. 1

This year’s Washington Leadership Training Institute (WLTI) will be held at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center in Alexandria, Va., Sept. 23-27. This experience is designed for all SkillsUSA students and advisors who want to grow in the essential elements of professionalism, communication and leadership while passionately advocating for career and technical education (CTE). The registration fee is $500 per person and hotel rooms are $184/night + tax. Registration for WLTI opens on Aug. 1 and the deadline is Aug. 21 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
