Through a donation from the Sharon Melton Myers Memorial Fund, SkillsUSA and the McMinn County Vocational Center SkillsUSA Alumni Association are offering a $500 scholarship to a high school SkillsUSA student in memory of Sharon Melton Myers. The Sharon Melton Myers Memorial SkillsUSA Scholarship fund provides graduating high school senior SkillsUSA members the opportunity to continue their education in college or technical school. The 2020 recipients are MacKenna Eccles, Porter (Texas) High School, and Emily Leverance, Oshkosh (Wis.) North High School.

Carhartt and TSC have an expanded this year’s “Support the Trades” line of shirts and hats from Carhartt to benefit SkillsUSA.
