Health care students and instructors from Indian Valley Vocational Center (IVVC) in Sandwich, Ill., are doing their part to help fight COVID-19 in their community. With a high need for personal protective equipment (PPE) in nearby Will County, IVVC donated over 8,500 masks and more than 1,000 pairs of gloves. Instructors took action by sorting through classroom supplies and donating whatever they didn’t need. IVCC hopes that other schools do the same to help out their local communities and healthcare workers during this crisis.
