“If you don’t do anything, you can’t control the government. It’s your right as a citizen. You might as well use it,” says Colin Clark, a graphic and visual communications student. Clark was one of many who took advantage of the voter-registration station set up by SkillsUSA students at Southern Adirondack Education Center in Hudson Falls, N.Y. The station included a display with the top 10 reasons to vote. Those who registered received an eagle pin plus a certificate for a free cookie made by culinary arts students.
