Overview

SkillsUSA is a student-led organization, and that shines through when chapters participate in SkillsUSA recruitment campaigns. It’s designed to empower chapter leaders to recruit potential new members through a series of activities and events that promote SkillsUSA throughout their school.

While most SkillsUSA chapters recruit at the beginning of fall semester, recruitment should not be limited to one time a year.  Consider adopting a year-round approach to membership recruitment, with emphasis at the beginning of each semester.

Below, you’ll find links to a series of both Advisor and Chapter Leader resources to help you plan and conduct your successful SkillsUSA member recruitment campaigns. Show your friends, colleagues and classmates why you love SkillsUSA and why joining SkillsUSA is one of the best decisions a student can make on the road to personal and professional success.

Every month is a chance to welcome new members and showcase the value of SkillsUSA through fun activities, events, and personal connections. Likewise, we have compiled a collection of Advisor and Chapter Leader resources to help you spark interest, build excitement, and grow your chapter whenever the opportunity arises.
