SkillsUSA Instructors Honored for Teaching Excellence

The Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence was presented to 20 teachers across the United States this week, including 12 registered SkillsUSA instructors. The prize recognizes outstanding instruction in the skilled trades in U.S. public high schools and the teachers who inspire students to learn skills for life after graduation.

WorldSkills USA Will Go for Gold in International Welding Competition, Oct. 17-20 in Cleveland

Jordan Packer of Utah will compete in the upcoming WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition on Oct. 17-20. The international welding competition will be held at the Lincoln Electric Welding Technology and Training Center in Cleveland.

Fine Homebuilding Awards Scholarships to Construction Trades Students to Recognize Excellence in Craftsmanship

Fine Homebuilding and Keep Craft Alive, in its sixth year partnering with SkillsUSA, have announced this year’s #KeepCraftAlive Scholarship winners. Eighteen students studying in construction-related fields received a $2,500 scholarship for the 2022-23 academic year.
