Will Serve SkillsUSA for the 2025-26 School Year

Leesburg, Va., Aug. 5, 2025 — Fourteen outstanding career and technical education (CTE) students from across the nation have been elected to serve as the 2025–26 SkillsUSA National Officer Team. Representing both high school and college/ postsecondary divisions, these leaders will advocate for over 444,000 SkillsUSA members nationwide. Throughout their term, they will help shape national initiatives, lead major conferences, deliver leadership training and serve as powerful voices for workforce development with policymakers, educators and industry leaders.

“Each of these students has a deep passion for SkillsUSA and CTE, and for their own personal growth and development. Throughout the election process, they demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of the SkillsUSA Framework and a strong work ethic that will make them great leaders to serve our members,” said Chelle Travis, executive director of SkillsUSA. “I look forward to working closely with this student leadership team throughout the school year.”

Elections were run by the SkillsUSA House of Delegates at the 2025 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) held June 23-27 in Atlanta. The student officers were elected through a formal process that concluded June 27 at the closing Awards Session when they were announced.

Newly elected SkillsUSA national officers for the High School division include:

  • President — Serenity Saterfield, a Multimedia Production and Entrepreneurship student at Entrepreneur High School (California). SkillsUSA advisor: Eileen Martinez.
  • Vice President — Jacqueline Arreloa, an Education student at Dinuba High School (California). SkillsUSA advisor: Nikki Ritchie.
  • Secretary — Pranav Vippagunta, a Computer Programming student at Paradise Valley High School (Arizona). SkillsUSA advisor: Bhawna Verma.
  • Treasurer — Nicole Prosser, a Software Development student at Meridian Technical Charter High School (Idaho). SkillsUSA advisor: Duane Erickson.
  • Parliamentarian — Reid Waters, an Engineering student at Wylie East High School (Texas). SkillsUSA advisor: David Lanman.
  • Region 1 Vice President — Logan Rebello, a Culinary Arts student at Taunton High School (Massachusetts). SkillsUSA advisor: Sarah Gibson.
  • Region 2 Vice President — Christian Spell, an Automotive Service Technology student at Midway High School (North Carolina). SkillsUSA advisor: Vernon Blackman.
  • Region 4 Vice President — Hannah Castillo, a Law Public Safety and Corrections student in Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet at Townview (Texas). SkillsUSA advisor: Keith Jennings.
  • Region 5 Vice President — Laisha Sanchez, a Culinary Arts student at the Academy of Arts, Careers and Technology (Nevada). SkillsUSA advisor: Fred Wright.

SkillsUSA national officers for the College/Postsecondary division include:

  • President — Memphis Hixon, a Precision Machining student at Canadian Valley Technology Center-Chickasha (Oklahoma). SkillsUSA advisor: Jeff Herndon.
  • Vice President — Heather Johnson, a Criminal Justice student at Fort Hays Tech Northwest (Kansas). SkillsUSA advisor: Jeremy Skrdlant.
  • Secretary — Corina Stewart, a Marketing/Hotel/Restaurant/Tourism student at Savannah Technical College (Georgia). SkillsUSA advisor: Dan Krautheimer.
  • Treasurer — Tanner Ashlock, a Collision Repair Technology student at Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Henry/Carroll (Tennessee). SkillsUSA advisor: Donald Drinkard.
  • Parliamentarian — Victoria Ingram, an Engineering student at Northern Neck Technical Center (Virginia). SkillsUSA advisor: Matt Ingram.

Joint Executive Committee Named

The SkillsUSA Joint Executive Committee (JEC) provides coordination between the high school and college/postsecondary divisions and includes officers from both teams. The committee elects a chair, vice chair and secretary. This year’s JEC members are:

  • Chair — Victoria Ingram
  • Vice Chair — Logan Rebello
  • Secretary — Hannah Castillo

To run for a national office, SkillsUSA members must meet their school and state candidate requirements. Once qualified to run, candidates campaign during the NLSC to student voting delegates representing all 50 states and three territories. The NLSC is the largest and most diverse annual showcase of skill training in the nation with over 19,000 attendees and 114 industry-led competitions.
