The 2017 WorldSkills Competition ended this evening at du Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. While the SkillsUSA WorldTeam did not receive Gold, Silver or Bronze, we did receive four medallions of excellence:
  • Chandler Vincent, Welding
  • Krzysztof Zamajtys, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration
  • Asher Chicoine, Plumbing and Heating
  • Kylie Burkey, Hairdressing
Chandler Vincent also received Best in the Nation for Welding. Congratulations to the SkillsUSA WorldTeam, and special thanks to our experts who trained the competitors.
