2021 NTHS Scholarship recipients announced

The following students have been announced as recipients of the NTHS Scholarship for 2021.

College/Postsecondary Winner
Jasmine Godoy, Tulsa (Okla.) Tech.

High School Winners
Thomasina Lester, Oxford Hills Technical School in Maine.
Savannah Pinner, Wylie (Texas) High School.
Megan Van Vollenhoven Student Center for Advanced Technical Studies in South Carolina.

SkillsUSA has teamed up with the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) to promote outstanding student achievement within career and technical education. SkillsUSA is encouraging chapters to consider participation in the honor society as part of their annual program of work.

Each year, THS awards four $1,000 scholarships to SkillsUSA members, two scholarships are awarded to high school members, and two scholarships are awarded to college/postsecondary members. In the event that a qualified college/postsecondary member is not recommended by the scholarship committee, the available college/postsecondary scholarships are awarded to high school students instead.

To be eligible, students must be active, dues-paying members of both SkillsUSA and NTHS. To apply, schools must have an active NTHS chapter, which includes submission of a charter application and approval from the school administration.
