Organizations wishing to reserve a virtual booth should visit the TECHSPO information page and contact Helen Carafa, development event manager, at hcarafa@skillsusa.org or 703-737-0637. SkillsUSA National Signing Day Set to Celebrate

The registration deadline for SkillsUSA’s National Signing Day is April 23. The event will be held on May 4 to celebrate high school seniors and college/postsecondary students who have chosen to pursue careers as professionals in the skilled trades. Learn more about National Signing Day on our site, and download toolkits and other resources to help chapters in your state host their own events. This is a fantastic way to bring positive public attention to SkillsUSA, your schools and CTE programs.

Registration Deadline Extended for “Connect to My Future” Conference

The “Connect to My Future” career conference registration deadline has been extended to April 23. This new event will be held May 5-6 to create an authentic, career-focused experience through meaningful connections between students and industry partners. It features three program tracks: “Explore” for middle school students, “Aspire” for high school students, and “Connect” for high school seniors and college/postsecondary students. (High school seniors are welcome to attend either “Aspire” or “Connect.”) Participants receive a learning journal, valuable career resources and the opportunity to connect directly with partners to learn about various career paths and possible future internships or employment opportunities.
