2022 Clifford T Rees Scholarship Recipients Announced

The 2022 recipients of the Clifford T Rees Scholarship have been announced:

William “Billy” Coughlin              Career and Technology Center, Maryland

Justin Martin     Pontotoc Technology Center, Oklahoma

Rebecca “Bec” Thorstad             Hennepin Technical Institute, Minnesota

David Vinson Withlacoochie Technical Institution, Florida

The Clifford “Ted” Rees Memorial Scholarship is a one-time $2,500 college/postsecondary scholarship offered to SkillsUSA HVAC students through a partnership between SkillsUSA and the Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Additional scholarships will be awarded to national HVAC medal winners at the 2022 NLSC.

SkillsUSA has partnered with Aerotek, a leading staffing and services provider in the manufacturing, logistics, construction, aviation and facility management industries, to provide 62 “Make Your Mark” scholarships to SkillsUSA members toward tuition for the spring 2024 semester. The scholarships were awarded in December 2023.
