Alumni Opportunities at NLSC
The SkillsUSA Alumni Coordinating Committee is sponsoring several activities and events during the national conference. They always need helping hands.

Alumni Volunteers
If you are an alumni who is attending the national conference and can volunteer some time to work on behalf of the Alumni Association, please go to: www.skillsusa.org/supporters/alumninlsc.shtml and complete the form no later than May 15.

Honoring Alumni
SkillsUSA alumni volunteer their time in many ways throughout the year as they help at local, state and national events.

Because many alumni attending the national conference are working hard for their own delegations or other committees, they do not necessarily have the time to volunteer to work at the alumni functions. But, we want to acknowledge them and thank them, too. The SkillsUSA Alumni Coordinating Committee will be hosting a reception and a luncheon at national conference just to say thank you.

If you are an alumni attending national conference and cannot volunteer, you are welcome to attend the reception and luncheon. Please go to: www.skillsusa.org/supporters/alumninlsc.shtml and RSVP no later than May 15.

The Alumni and Friends Association is proud to offer CPR Certification during the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference on, Tuesday, June 25, 2013, from 9 a.m. to noon
The American Heart Association (AHA) now offers a hands-on approach to ensure victims receive immediate care by non-medical personnel. This session will provide the basic knowledge to save a life in the event of such emergencies. In order to provide AHA certification, there will be a $20 charge collected onsite. Presenter: Brice Harader-Pate, RN, BSN and alumna, and Emily Hughes, alumna.

Inaugural SkillsUSA Alumni Roundtable Training
Are you an alumni member looking for the next step? Have you been looking for a sincere connection with other alumni members? Then we have a special invitation for you! The Alumni Coordinating Committee (ACC) invites you to be our special guest at the Inaugural SkillsUSA Alumni Roundtable to be held in Kansas City, Monday June 24 in Bartle Hall Room 2104B from 9 a.m. to noon.

This fast-paced and unique event will provide alumni training, networking opportunities with fellow alumni and a voice for your state as we continue to plan for the growth of the alumni organization across the country.

Every registered alumni member is eligible to download and carry an official SkillsUSA alumni membership card. To download your card, simply click on the following link and print your card to a color printer on any paper or card stock. After you sign the card, you can laminate it for durability, if you like. This card is valid only when the individual is registered with SkillsUSA as an official member in our database.
