New Mega Prizes Announced

Universal Technical Institute (UTI) is offering two tickets to NASCAR's top series, NASCAR Sprint Cup and $500 in travel and spending money. The tickets are to the race of their choice.

 

The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) is offering the 2013 SEMA Show Experience for Collision Repair (Valued at $3200)

• $500 Visa Gift Cards to cover travel expenses
  
• Hotel rooms in Las Vegas during the SEMA Show
  
• Passes into the SEMA Show
  
• Full series passes to the SCRS Repairer Driven Education at the SEMA Show.

SCRS will be donating a 1 year free membership to all collision repair vocational schools who have a student competing in the SkillsUSA competition. SkillsUSA can simply provide a list of all schools, their address, email,phone number and primary collision repair contact at the school, and the schools will be automatically registered. Valued at $300.00 per school.

IRWIN Tools donated an all-expense-paid trip to the 2011 IRWIN Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway. This Mega Prize includes airfare, hotel accommodations, shuttle service and grand stand race tickets to the IRWIN Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway for two during the weekend of August 26-28, 2011.

Solano offered a membership mega prize for a Cosmetology instructor!  The prize package included the following for one cosmetology instructor and a guest:

Louisville Convention & Visitor's Bureau sponsored one SkillsUSA 100 percent chapter advisor and guest to attend the April 2012 Thunder Over Louisville. This included:

NEW Customer Service Companies, Inc. provided two (2) Suite Tickets for a 100 percent SkillsUSA advisor and guest to the Washington Nationals baseball team. Trip included a VIP weekend including hotel accommodations and airfare stipends. Additional highlights of the trip included tours of the Nation's capital and surrounding areas including a tour of the SkillsUSA National Center.

Klein Tools awarded five $2000 tool shopping sprees to five 100% chapter advisors.

Kobalt Tools offered a tool package for specific schools based on 100 percent membership.

At the state level 100 percent chapter advisors and those advisors that have achieved a 10 percent increase in membership (with a minimum of 10 students) were eligible for a drawing for gift cards from Lowe's.

IRWIN Tools awarded one lucky SkillsUSA instructor, and a guest, an all-expense-paid trip to the 2010 IRWIN Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway. This Mega Prize included airfare, hotel accommodations and race tickets to the IRWIN Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway for two during the weekend of August 20th - 22. In addition to the excitement of the race, these guests enjoyed a VIP pass to watch the IRWIN Tools Ultimate Tradesman Challenge North American Championship. IRWIN also provided a similar VIP experience in Charlotte, North Carolina for a 100 percent SkillsUSA advisor and guest to the NHRA races.
