The following are frequently asked questions about the National Leadership and Skills Conference.

Champions at Work

Registration

Note: When paying the $115 registration fee and state fee the admission to Worlds of fun and the Awards Ceremony is already included.

Parking

  • Parking passes for conference week will be sold on-site only for the following parking lot: Municipal Auditorium Garage, under Barney Allis Plaza (covered parking-maximum height of 6’6”, unlimited in and out privileges with entrance/exit on Wyandotte between 12th and 13th Streets during conference.) Cards are activated Monday-Friday, June 23-27, 2008 only. The cost will be $45 for the week. A plastic card is provided and needs to be returned to the parking attendant the last time you leave the garage
  • Passes will be on sale in Lobby 2100 (north side of 13th Street), just outside the SkillsUSA Conference offices the following days and times:
  • Sunday, June 22, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
    Monday, June 23, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • VISA and MasterCard are also accepted.

Opening Ceremony

Competitions

  • The majority of competitions begin at 9 a.m. on June 26 in Bartle Hall and Municipal Audtorium. Note: Some competitions begin on Wednesday the 25. See the official program for details.
  • Ribbon cutting (TBD)
  • Admission is free and open to the public.

SkillsUSA Night at Worlds of Fun

  • It takes place Thursday, June 26.
  • Tickets cost $20.
  • To purchase tickets go to the booth outside Room 2103A.
  • Entry to Worlds of Fun for SkillsUSA Night is at 5 p.m.
