SkillsUSA has a new national college/postsecondary program of work that includes a Service Learning component. This training will provide information on the new model, how to establish a chapter and how to integrate the model and SkillsUSA into your classrooms using these components: academic coursework, service to the community, and a critical reflection component that lends itself to civic engagement/responsibility. Discover through PowerPoint presentation, handouts and group discussion, how Service Learning can be a teaching methodology, which allows faculty to integrate classroom instruction with student community service.
