To achieve that, this year we are requiring all student competitors to post their résumés on our job board at this link: http://newjobs.skillsusa.org/jobseekers/profile/index.cfm This is a very simple process. Users will go to the above link and set up a user name and password. The next step is to select CONTESTANT from the Career Categories menu on the site. The résumé can be uploaded in a wide variety of formats, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF. Our intent is to get the electronic résumés to the national technical committee chairs in advance of their contest orientation meetings in KC. However, as a safeguard and since this is the first year using a paperless option, we also want contestants to bring a paper back up copy of their résumé to Kansas City. All contestants should post their résumés to the Web site by June 1, 2009. |
