SkillsUSA is the sum of its members, as the chapter at Auburn Career Center in Concord Township, Ohio, demonstrated. Collision repair instructor Chuck Torre snapped this aerial photo.

Students who participate in SkillsUSA competitive events benefit immensely. While nice, winning is not the prime objective. It is the opportunity to practice their skills, network with their peers and be recognized for their involvement — regardless of whether they place first, second or third — that provides students with the greatest benefits.
Jim Rogers, superintendent, Morris County Tech, New Jersey

SkillsUSA was able to offer me the most valuable and lasting training that will stick with me throughout my career. I look forward to continued advocacy for this organization and bringing students a step higher through leadership and employability skills.
Patrick Thompson of Utah, former postsecondary president
