Stand for Something or Fall for Anything

SkillsUSA has always been about standards — high standards — on the job, in the classroom and in the community. And now there’s a new Chapter Standards Program, an online initiative designed with the ultimate success of the student and advisor in mind.

Developed with the input of numerous instructors and technical education champions, the program allows students to participate in every aspect of the SkillsUSA experience while demonstrating the leadership and employability skills they’ve gained. Chapter advisors can use it to show they’re meeting state and national educational standards for teaching employability skills, and it’s a new way to track individual student growth.

Chapters enrolling in the program receive all sorts of special benefits and recognition pieces from SkillsUSA. To preview it or enroll, visit and click on the “Chapter Standards” button. end of story

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. — Aristotle
