“SkillsUSA is giving me opportunities that I never would have had otherwise. Not only am I able to travel and develop as a leader, but I am able to meet new, remarkable people and hear stories and ideas that I may never have experienced outside of this organization.”
— Heather Taylor of Drumright, Okla., SkillsUSA's newly elected Region IV vice president.

“We never want to forget the American values on which this country was founded and on which its future success depends, and SkillsUSA helps develop that in a way that is really unparalleled.”
—Susan Sclafani, U.S. Assistant Secretary of education, at SkillsUSA's National Leadership and Skills Conference
