PDP Online

SkillsUSA has begun revising the PDPOnline to match the newly revised paper version. In addition, we are using a new learning management system (LMS) that is user-friendly and will allow for a much more media-rich online program than our previous version. The new online version will have animations, video clips and more interactive lessons. The look will also be new, fresh and more appealing to students. 

PDPOnline levels will be sold separately. In addition, instructors can now purchase the SkillsUSA portion online. Student licenses are $5 each per level. The LMS and advisor guide are free. 

The current PDPOnline will be taken offline by August 1. Because of the new LMS, student information will not transfer. The revised PDPOnline will be available September 1.

State Farm Insurance is sponsoring regional Professional Development Program (PDP), Chapter Management Institute (CMI) seminars and Career Skills Education Program (CSEP) seminars. All materials and training will be free to participants. The only cost is $30 for lunch and breaks. PDP participants will receive a complete set of PDP materials and free licenses for each level. CMI participants will receive an ASK CD, a SkillsUSA Leadership Handbook and the SkillsUSA Championships Technical Standards CD package. CSEP participants will receive one free CSEP license. 

If you would like to sign-up for or host a regional PDP training seminar, CMI training seminar or CSEP training seminar, please contact Stephanie Bland at 703-737-0622 or sbland@skillsusa.org. A minimum of 25 participants is needed to conduct the training. The latest seminar information is available at: www.skillsusa.org/educators/training.shtml.
