All SkillsUSA Championships competition clothing should be purchased through SkillsUSA’s officially licensed merchandiser, E Group, Inc. Carhartt, a longstanding Official Sponsor of SkillsUSA, supplies some of the official competition clothing to E Group. Blaklader, a new Official Sponsor, does not supply E Group.
SkillsUSA constituencies are invited to purchase work wear directly from Blaklader for personal or professional use, but Blaklader work clothing is not approved for use in the national SkillsUSA Championships. Official competition clothing can be purchased at: www.skillsusastore.org. If E Group doesn’t offer some item of official competition clothing required by some contests (e.g. plain black slacks, culinary tunics), such items may be purchased from non-E Group sources, but must comply with clothing rules set forth in the Technical Standards 2011-2012 or in the contest updates (www.skillsusa.org/compete/updates.shtml), if cited.
