Students In Service Awards: Scholarship Opportunity
Washington Campus Compact has partnered with Inspireum, a technology company, to celebrate service work of outstanding college students. The Students in Service Awards include scholarships and grants.
Students who apply for this award will have their projects posted on the Students in Service Awards website. Students, educators, family members and other community members will be invited to vote for their favorite student/service project. Fan votes and the Washington Campus Compact staff will select the top 50 inspirational semifinalists. A national selection committee of civic leaders, along with a fan vote, chooses the final Students In Service Award™ winner and scholarship recipients.
An interim website has been developed with additional details on eligibility and the nominations process at: www.serviceawards.org. A more comprehensive website will be open for nominations December 15, 2010 through January 28, 2011. For more information, go to: www.wacampuscompact.org/programs/sisawards/award%20overview.pdf.
