We currently have full/partial support for 16 WorldSkills competitions (WSC) taking our total team to 18. Both Mechatronics and Mobile Robotics are two-member team events.  Please be sure to visit http://www.skillsusa.org/compete/worldteam.shtml periodically for updates on the competitors and our sponsors. We have selected nine team members to date and will be posting their bios and photos very soon.

 Please also visit the WorldTeam Web page for details regarding the 2009 WSC schedule and travel and hotel information. The conference begins with the competitors arriving August 28. The competitions are September 2-5, and the closing ceremonies will be conducted September 6. All participants will return home on September 7. 

 We have been advised that the Canadian Organizing Committee will sell tickets to the opening and closing ceremonies on a limited basis for people who do not plan to purchase the hotel packages available. The costs are CAD40.00 for the OC and CAD30.00 for the CC. Using today’s exchange rate, which converts to $32.04 for the opening and $24.03 for the awards ceremony.
