Suggested Photo Opportunities The SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference showcases the talents of thousands of students in career and technical education. In addition to the interactive exhibits and large displays, a number of events during the SkillsUSA Championships provide the media with exceptional photo opportunities. We suggest you stop by the following contests for the best photo opportunities from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, June 27.

We also encourage visits to the 10 off-site contests: Medical Assisting and Practical Nursing on Monday and Nurse Assisting and Dental Assisting on Tuesday at the Metropolitan Community College Health Science Institute (3444 Broadway, Kansas City, Mo.); Firefighting on Monday and Tuesday at the Firefighting Academy (5130 Deramus Ave., Kansas City, Mo.); Humanoid Robotics, Sustainability Solutions and Urban Search and Rescue on Wednesday and Thursday at American Royal; and, TeamWorks and Welding Fabrication on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the American Royal. *Please note: Flash photography is not permitted.
